The BBC Big Band plays 'Frank & Ella', with conductor Barry Forgie and vocalists Claire Martin OBE & Jeff Hooper. The internationally renowned BBC Big Band are joined by award-winning vocalist and BBC Radio Presenter, Claire Martin OBE, and the acclaimed singer, Jeff Hooper, for a celebration of two of the twentieth century's most iconic entertainers: Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. Through a diverse repertoire arranged and curated by the BBC Big Band, the concert celebrates the music of these two music legends, whose legacy and influence continues to define a classic era of music. It features classic songs that made them stars - such as 'The Lady is a Tramp', 'I've Got You Under My Skin', 'That Old Black Magic' and 'Someone to Watch Over Me', and explores the music of some of the bands and orchestras who Frank and Ella worked with through their incredible and varied careers. This is an unmissable evening of feel-good music inspired two of the twentieth century's greatest vocalists and entertainers.
